On Saturday September 21, 2019 I went on a railfan adventure to chase the Everett Railroad’s Steam Into The Cove excursion train. Like many other short line tourist railroads Everett doesn’t always use their route/line for normal excursions. For Everett’s passenger trains only on special excursions is when this railroad goes all the way to Martinsburg from Hollidaysburg. The locomotive used for this excursion was #11 2-6-0 Mogul type steamer. Locomotive #11 was built by the Cooke Works of the American Locomotive Company in Paterson, NJ back in 1920.
