Everett Railroad 11 Steam Into The Cove Excursion

On Sunday, March 19th, I made my first visit to the Everett Railroad to see their first Steam into the Cove excursion for the 2023 operating season. This excursion traveled from Hollidaysburg PA to Martinsburg PA, where the train was wyed and then returned to Hollidaysburg. The duration of this excursion was budgets for three hours round trip, providing passengers with scenery of both rural agriculture and woods as well as industrialized towns. Additionally, #11 was pulling four filled passenger coaches on this day, which resulted in some incredible stack talk as the locomotive climbed the grade out of Roaring Springs toward Martinsburg.. . With this being my first visit to the Everett Railroad, I was not able to catch every key location. However, I was very satisfied with how this chase turned out, and I am excited to return at some point in the future to see #11 again.. .
