After 2+ years, we finally are back, and the Star of Video is None other than Everett 11 Herself. Everett 11 is a 2-6-0 Mogul Steam Locomotive, and in this Video is Pulling the Ice Cream Train Special, from Holidaysburg to Roaring Springs PA. Everett 11 put on a great show thru the Blair County country and landscape from open fields, to curves and towns, we capture No.11 With great Smoke and Stack Talk climing the Grades with her Melodious 5 Chime Whistle! Then we get No.11 Tender First At 3 spots and Returning to Holidaysburg PA. It was a Beautiful Day and glad I could go and see No.11, and I hope you enjoy some Steam in Blair County! . . Everett Railroad No.11- is a 2-6-0 Mogal built by the Cooke Works of ALCO in 1920, and it wasn’t until 1923, when she was Named 11, on the Narragansett Pier Railroad. No.11 was Formerly used on the Bath u0026 Hammondsport Railroad for a While, before, retiring her from Service in 1949, to replace with Deisels. Until 1955, when a Rail collector, in Sandy New York. Then was Bought by another railroad Preservationist, and he Operated No.11 on his mile long circle, of track. She operated in the 1970s. In 1977 No.11 was bought by another Collector. In 1981, she was sold to the Middleton u0026 New Jersey Railroad in New York. After a While she finally was sold to the Everett Railroad in 2006, and finally in 2015, 11 finally returned to Service.
