The processes of thinking and imagination have long been a mystery to humanity. However, recent research and advancements in deep learning and other fields have brought us much closer to capturing the human thought distributions by reverse-engineering data from individuals. Sufficient data might make a lot of things possible, like generating thoughts from someone’s thought distribution. This talk gives a brief introduction to the pipeline for developing a simple variant of such AI models.. . AI, Brain, Cognitive science, Machine Learning, Math, Psychology I’m a student at MIT majored in Computer Science and Engineering, also double-majoring in Mathematics. One of my main interests is deep learning, and I am deeply passionate about its research. Currently, I am conducting research at MIT CSAIL, focusing on Generative Models, particularly Diffusion Models. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
