Taekwondo teaches you when it is okay to choose to fight or flee. The philosophy of it is applicable to real life experiences, especially when dealing with people successfully. I am also going to help people explore how to achieve this. Taking into account the consequences of your actions makes a huge difference to the outcome. I’m a tenth grader at Şişli Terakki High School. I love reading and drawing. I even try to write my own stories and draw the characters to improve my drawing. I have a special interest in graphics, animation and sports, especially martial arts. I have also been to many MUN Conferences as part of my extracurricular activities programme. I have been doing taekwondo for three years and currently I have a red- black belt. Recently, I have developed an interest in IT and new technologies; I even attended a workshop about data mining. In the future, I would like to study astrophysics or quantum because I believe that it’s worth finding out about the mysteries of the universe This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
