Hillsdale, Michigan was THE place to be for any steam fan during the last weekend of August. Three steam locomotives, Nickel Plate Road 765 and Little River Railroad 1 u0026 110, were all present in Hillsdale as part of an event coordinated by the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society, touted as The Indiana Rail Experience. This particular weekend of excursions was advertised as the Tri-State Scenic Excursion, as 765’s excursion would begin in Ohio, weave through Indiana and arrive into Michigan. . . .
