The Lost Puppy. . Once upon a time, in a busy city, there lived a little boy named Billy. Billy had a pet puppy named Charlie. Charlie was a very playful and cuddly puppy, and Billy loved him dearly.. . One day, Billy and Charlie were playing in the park when Charlie saw a squirrel and chased after it. Charlie ran and ran, and soon he was lost. Billy looked for Charlie everywhere, but he couldn’t find him. Billy was very sad. He sat down on a park bench and started to cry.. . Just then, a kind old lady saw Billy crying and asked him what was wrong. Billy told the old lady about his lost puppy. The old lady smiled and said, “Don’t worry, little boy. I’ll help you find your puppy.”. . The old lady put up lost puppy posters all over the city. She also asked her friends and neighbors to help her look for Charlie.. . Finally, after a few days, a little girl found Charlie wandering around the park. She called Billy, and Billy was so happy to see his puppy again.
