As the days get shorter and the leaves change colors, it is a sign that it is once again time for the Reading u0026 Northern Passenger Department to host its annual Autumn Leaf Excursions featuring ex-Reading T-1 Class 4-8-4 #2102, affectionately known as the “T-Hog”. The 2024 season featured three excursions departing from Reading Outer Station in the south, heading 60 rail miles north to Jim Thorpe where passengers would detrain and enjoy a few leisurely hours exploring the bustling town. This video features a collection of scenes from all three excursions, with 2102 sporting a more pleasant sounding Reading 6 chime reminiscent of the original Reading Rambles in the 1960s.
