New Hope Ivyland Switching Freight in Hd

When most people think of the New Hope u0026 Ivyland Railroad, they think of their passenger excursion trains. However, the NHu0026I also runs a freight operation a few days per week, usually in the Warminster, PA area. BJVP was lucky enough to be in the area one Friday morning when a crew showed up to start switching operations for the day. The engine they are using is former Canadian Pacific SD40-2 #5577 – after switching their interchange closer to Ivyland, the crew came down to the Castrol plant in Warminster to switch out some tank cars. Even though the weather was rainy, it was still cool to see this side of the NHu0026I operation – hopefully I can come back for more soon!
