
Its was a Beautiful Spring Day, on April the 13th, and Decided to visit the Everett Railroad for the First Time, to see Everett No.11, the ALCO built steamer that in the Main Motive Power on the Everett Railroad. Also the Only Steam Locomotive Operating around the altoona Area. As we travel along the road at Crossings, on the Everett Railroad Line. . . Everett Railroad No.11- is a 2-6-0 Mogal built by the Cooke Works of ALCO in 1920, and it wasn’t until 1923, when she was Named 11, on the Narragansett Pier Railroad. No.11 was Formerly used on the Bath u0026 Hammondsport Railroad for a While, before, retiring her from Service in 1949, to replace with Deisels. Until 1955, when a Rail collector, in Sandy New York. Then was Bought by another railroad Preservationist, and he Operated No.11 on his mile long circle, of track. She operated in the 1970s. In 1977 No.11 was bought by another Collector. In 1981, she was sold to the Middleton u0026 New Jersey Railroad in New York. After a While she finally was sold to the Everett Railroad in 2006, and finally in 2015, 11 finally returned to Service. She has Ran ever since, and is the Main Locomotive on the Everett Railroad Today! . .
