Chasing The Ice Cream Train

On June 25, 2022 the Everett Railroad ran another one of their famed “Ice Cream Trains”. Passengers get on at Hollidaysburg, PA, run down to Roaring Springs where they are served ice cream while the locomotive runs around the trains, and then returns the passengers back to Hollidaysburg. All in just under 3 hours!. . We start the day down in Claysburg near the Everett Railroad’s steam locomotive shops. With the additional task of briging an old box car from the shops up to the office today, they make their way on time and at track speed. We would later catch them at two locations off of Dunnings Highway before they drop off the box cars and start focusing on their passengers.. .
